And a write up! This is my 1989 Ford E250 Econoline 4x4.
The 4x4 conversion was done when the van was new by a company called Quigley 4x4 in Manchester PA. This being a 3/4 ton van, everything underneath is super over built. Any Quigley still makes all the bespoke steering and suspension parts for the front end, its not just an F250 front end. Pretty much all custom from Quigley.
After the conversion was done, it was sold to Bell Canada as a service vehicle to be used on the bush in Northern Ontario. In 1996, it made its way to used car lot in Sydenham Ontario, where the last owner bought it. Hey immediately painted it andadded the 5000 pound Warn winch on a receiver hitch so he can move it to the front or back, depending on the situation.
The paint needs some TLC, and there is some rust, the drivers foot well istoast, but that's the only major cancer. Brand new brakes on all four corners, new front end steering and Rancho shocks all the way around. New tires too.
The engine is a fuel injected 302backed, more than likely, by a small block C6 automatic. If its a C4, we have a small block C6 that will go in there. Also not sure of the transfer case model, Joe hast found the papers he made up, but maybe you can figure it out.
Much better potato pictues. See if you can identify the axles for me, I know theyre Danas of some kind, also don't know what T case it is, Joe hasn't found all his notes yet. Look how beefy that front suspension is.
You can tell it used to be a work van...
I laughed a bit when I saw the 10 thousand RPM monster tach.
Look at that beautiful T case shifter knob. Look at it.
These were just lying around in his garage, so why the hell not.
Thats all 5'11" of me. This thing is huge.
The Bruiser, ladies and germs.

Just a 5k winch? I thought the rule of thumb was twice the weight of the vehicle? Badass van, either way.

I love these things, theres one in my girlfriends neighborhood thats all white, seemingly newer, but I love the look of them. Not sure I would want to own one, but they have a lot of cool points.

That is a damn nice machine!
Call Quigley with your VIN number and they should be able to get you a build sheet on it. Don't email them for info unless they ask you to.
The T-case is most likely a NP 208 or 241. And there's no way that they would have put a C4 in an E350. Rest assured there.

According to the previous owner, its actually a Quigley built Tcase. But youre right about the transmission.

Now go out and repair some land lines. Oh, wait, that's why they retired it.
